Finally I found a Korean restaurant that serves JAJANGMYEON!! Now mind you I am from MD so I haven't been to any other restaurants in the area but to the numerous places I've been in MD, not one served this. I watch Korean Supernatural dramas on Netflix and this is a dish that is very commonly served and it was delicious. I'm glad I finally had the chance to taste it. I also had Mandu and i loved the cabbage kimchi (not too much spices that it was hard to eat and a tasty flavor). They had a variety of 6 bonchon dishes. This restaurant will be on my list to come back to when I'm in the area.

    The food was tasty.

I would have rated them higher but they aren't to friendly to "outsiders" . I went in to order my food to-go . No greeting, not even a menu, I had to walk to the bar to get it, but greeted the next Korean customers to walk in . The waiter walked them to their seat, rushed menus over to them and all . I sat for while to observe a little longer just in case I was looking into it too hard but then a white male walked in and again no greeting .

Once I ordered my food I sat there to wait since it was a to-go order. As soon as she put the order in she rushed the check over to me (which is fine) but then kept coming to the table wanting the receipt before I had time to look at it . Very uncomfortable feeling .

Disclaimer :: I went to high school in South Korea and LOVE EVERYTHING about the country and culture ! Especially their food lol

So since I recently moved to Virginia I was hoping to find a place near my house that I could become a regular at.  I'm praying that was just a bad day for the waiter !

I haven't found many Korean restaurants that I liked here in VA, but this one hit the spot. I will definitely be coming back soon.

The spicy rice cake appetizer i ordered was delicious. The rice cake was cooked perfectly and the sauce was exactly how it's supposed to be, sweet and spicy. I ordered black bean noodles as my main entree and it was amazing. The portion was enough to be filling and worth the price. If J remember correctly, the noodles were about $10-11. I'm so glad it wasn't over priced like any other Korean restaurant around here. My friends ordered the bulgogi and they seemed to love it. That was about $13-14 and it came with rice. I think that's a little over priced but it was worth the money. The food came out fairly quickly and their service was good.

Came in for dinner one night and the place kind of had a nice homey charm to it. Service was slow as there was only one woman running the front. Plus side though, she was very friendly. The mandu was delicious, my son enjoyed it a lot. I feel like the other two dishes (Bibimbap and Pork bulgogi) was decent but not overly spectacular. She forgot to give me the gochujang sauce for my food so I had to wait until she was done assisting other tables to ask her for it. I'd have to say this wasn't my favorite Korean spot but I wouldn't mind giving it another shot. Maybe even during lunch time one day.

It was my second time eating dinner here and I love this place!

First of all, I don't know how they can do that but they seriously have so many kinds of Korean food..YAY!!!!! One of my friends doesn't enjoy asian food as much as I do so I was kinda worried about him BUT luckily it turned out he LOVED the Korean style fried chicken wings!!!lol
Christina was our waitress this time and she was so kind and friendly! Thank you again:)

If you like seafood and enjoy spicy food like me? Try jjam-bbong (it's a spicy soup with noodles and I asked rice instead of noodles) when you get a chance. You won't regret it!!!!;) Everything looked amazing and so delicious! This place has some REAL Korean food. You should definitely try!
